Toring Injured At French Open Water Polo Tournament -- April 19, 1998

Dear Friends,
It is with great personal sadness that I write to tell you that on Saturday night, US National Team member Jim Toring was struck by a bus while crossing a street in Paris, France. Jim is unconscious, in critical but stable condition at a Nuerological care unit at a hospital in Clichey, a northern suburb of Paris. Team Doctor Robert Jones has been monitoring Jim and Jim's dad, Hank, took a flight to Paris this (Monday) morning.

I would like to ask you all to pray for Jim's speedy and full recovery.
