Utah's Rempfer is Mountain West Swimmer of the Week -- November 1, 2002

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Nov. 1. UTAH sophomore Cody Rempfer has been named Mountain West Conference men’s swimmer of the week.

Rempfer, a Lodi, Calif., product, raced to three individual victories and was a part of the winning medley relay team, helping the Utes to a dual meet win over UC Irvine.

He started the meet winning the 200-yard butterfly in 1:49.71, then followed that up with wins in the 100-yard butterfly (50.77) and the 200-yard individual medley (1:53.20). Rempfer ended his weekend helping Utah’s medley relay team to victory in a pool record 1:33.83.
