Mazuolis Retires! -- January 9, 1997

1994 World Championship bronze medalist in the 50m freestyle, Raimundas Mazuolis of Lithuania has quit swimming due to medical reasons.

Mazuolis underwent foot surgery for bone excrescence last fall.

The 24 year old Lithuanian orginally came to the U.S. after the 1992 Olympics in order to train under Jack Nelson at the Fort Lauderdale Swim Club.
