Margaux Isaksen Wins Final Junior Title in NORCECA OPEN Event

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado, November 29. DEFENDING world champion Margaux Isaksen, in her final competition as a junior, brought home the gold for the United States in the NORCECA OPEN Youth and Junior Championships held over the Thanksgiving weekend at the US Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

In the women's youth and junior categories the US swept all divisions with DJ Corbett of Texas taking the Youth C crown, Monet Moreau of San Marcos, Texas the Youth B gold and Natalie Bowman from Lodi, California the Youth A title. This title for Isaksen caps an illustrious career as a junior Pentathlete with multiple world titles and medals to her credit.

In the men's open-junior division Kim Kyeong Pil of Korea took home the gold medal with Jonathan Heiniger of River Falls, Wisconsin winning the NORCECA Youth C title, Ben Heiniger of River Falls, Wisconsin the NORCECA Youth B crown and Charlie Fernandez of Guatemala, the NORCECA Youth A and NORCECA Junior division gold medals.
