Nashville Aquatic Club Head Coach John Morse A Hero During Nashville Floods

NASHVILLE, Tennessee, May 7. ACCORDING to a report by CNN yesterday, Nashville Aquatic Club head coach John Morse is a hero. Morse, risking his own life during the floods this past weekend in middle Tennessee, saved a pair of flood victims.

Neelyann Sheucraft and her 4-year-old daughter Lowell Ann were trapped in the attic after a flash flood began surging through every opening available in the Sheucraft property. With 911 dealing with a huge influx of rescue requests, Sheucraft began calling everyone she knew on her cell phone. This information wound up in the hands of Morse, who drove out to the neighborhood where Sheucraft was trapped.

Morse then made the decision to attempt the rescue, and dove into the water. Morse made his way to the house, and helped Sheucraft, her daughter and their two dogs in a duffel bag out to rescue workers that were in canoes.

Kudos to Morse for risking his life to save others!
