Ivy League Championships: Day One

PRINCETON, New Jersey, March 4. THE 2010 Ivy League Men's Swimming & Diving Championships take place this weekend — Thursday, March 4th through Saturday, March 6th — at DeNunzio Pool in Princeton, N.J.

The host Tigers will attempt to defend a 2009 crown that they secured at home a year ago. Coach Orr's squad heads to the championships as an undefeated team on the year, but should face stiff competition from Harvard for the team title. Also, look for a bevy of new Ivy League individual winners in the 2010 edition of the Championships as nearly half of the races do not have seated defending champion due to graduation.

Princeton took a day one lead with 423.5 points, while Harvard sat second with 317 points.
