PHOENIX, Arizona, November 16. OUR weeklong preview of the 2009 Golden Goggles Awards begins today on The Morning Swim Show with an interview with USA Swimming Foundation Chief Development Officer Chris LaBianco. We'll also learn about an innovative freestyle drill from a top Australian coach.

LaBianco talks with host Peter Busch about this year's nominees for the Golden Goggles and what changes might be in store for future events, including a venue change and new categories. In our Tip of the Week section, Australian coach Grant Stoelwinder introduces his take on a freestyle drill called the Swedish Scissor, which works on core and hip strength. November 16, 2009 Swim of the year is that 200 back of peirsols. He blew though the 1:52's to 1:51. Peirsol in that swim showed us what heart is in a swim. Coming out of that 100 back, he is a true champion!!
