PHOENIX, Arizona, October 21. OLYMPIC champion Garrett Weber-Gale joins today's edition of The Morning Swim Show to talk about his newfound joy of cooking, and coach Chuck Batchelor details an excruciating set that he gives his swimmers every year on Columbus Day.
Weber-Gale, a part of the gold medal-winning 400 freestyle relay in Beijing, talks about the time he has spent this summer and fall working in kitchens in Italy and New York. Weber-Gale has been back in the water in Austin, Texas, and he talks about the new feeling he has in his freestyle and how exciting it has made him to get back into training. On our inaugural Workout of the Week segment, Batchelor breaks down his set of 50x400 that he gave his swimmers on Columbus Day this year. The full set can be found below the video player.
