The Morning Swim Show, Oct. 20, 2009: Gemma Spofforth Talks about Winning World Championships and Senior Year at Florida; Applauding Therese Alshammar's World Records -- October 20, 2009

PHOENIX, Arizona, October 20. NCAA and world champion backstroker is today's guest on The Morning Swim Show, and we introduce a new weekly segment applauding great performances in the pool.

Spofforth talks about winning the 100 backstroke at the world championships, how placing fourth at the 2008 Olympics fueled her fire and what she's looking forward to with coaches Martyn Wilby and Gregg Troy at Florida in her senior year. Also, we introduce a new segment called "Performance of the Week," in which we laud Therese Alshammar's two world records on Saturday.
