Loukas Adds Another National Title in Synchronized Springboard -- April 26, 2009

FT. LAUDERDALE, Florida, April 26. INDIANA University senior Christina Loukas picked up her second USA Diving national title this week with a victory in the three-meter springboard synchronized competition Sunday at the Speedo USA Diving National Championships in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

Loukas and partner Amanda Miller tallied 310.80 points for their five-dive set, beating out second-place team Michelle Davison Sandelin and Allison Brennan by 28.47 points. Junior Brittney Feldman and partner Abby Johnson were fifth (252.60).

In the individual three-meter competition, Loukas placed third with a tally of 288.30 points. Feldman was fourth with 279.90 points. Earlier this week Loukas won the one-meter springboard championship, giving her four USA Diving national titles in her career.
