Mid-American Conference: Day One -- February 19, 2009
NASHVILLE, Tennessee, February 19. MIAMI University leads the Mid-American Conference swimming and diving championships after day one as the RedHawks dominated the three-meter diving event.
Eastern Michigan captured the 200 yard medley relay and 800 yard freestyle relay competition among MAC teams. Miami's Chris Heaton took honors in the three meter diving competition.
The league championships are being held in conjunction with the Sun Belt championships. Competition begins Thursday and runs through Saturday.
