Aquatic Center To Be Reanmed in Honor of Steve Heaston -- November 29, 2000

November 29. ACALANES Union High School District and Acalanes High School, in northern California, will
rename and dedicate its aquatic center in honor of legendary water polo coach Steve Heaston. The dedication is scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 9 at 10:30 am.

In addition to coaching at Acalanes, Steve served as
technical director of U.S. Water Polo, coach of the University of California and assistant Olympic Coach (1988, silver medal team) - to name a few of his roles within the sport of water polo. A plaque commemorating Steve's dedication to young athletes and listing his achievements will be unveiled at the dedication.
