Arizona State vs. USC

LOS ANGELES, California, November 13. USC freshman Vladimir Morozov broke a 20-year old USC record while senior Presley Bard was a three-time winner as the USC men's swimming and diving team downed ASU, 186-107, and the Trojan women beat the Sun Devils, 172-121, Saturday (Nov. 13) at USC's McDonald's Swim Stadium.

The meet wrapped up a perfect weekend for the No. 6 women, who beat No. 6 Arizona Friday, while it served as a big victory for the No. 14 men after a loss to the No. 5 Wildcats.

Morozov's record-breaking swim came in his leadoff of the 400y free relay, the final race of the meet. He clocked a 42.93, not only breaking a six-year old pool record of 43.59, but erasing Erik Ran's 1990 school record of 42.98. The opening swim led USC to a relay win of 2:57.42.

USC's 400y medley relay of Bard, junior Ania Kowalczyk, senior Lyndsay DePaul and freshman Kasey Carlson got the meet off on a winning note with a first-place swim in 3:42.60, well ahead of ASU's second-place effort (3:45.30).
