Nina Dittrich Sets Austrian National Short Course Record -- January 31, 2008
AUSTRIA, January 31. NINA Dittrich, a 17-year-old who represents SVS Simmering, shot down Austria's national record in the 1500 freestyle over the short course with a top time at the Wiener Meisterschaften meet.
Dittrich finished the race with a time of 16:22.17, to take more than seven seconds off the former record of 16:30.07 set by Petra Zahrl in March of 2003.
