Water Polo: Estiarte Strikes World Championship Gold -- January 19, 1998

From www.uswp.org - PERTH, AUSTRALIA - Spain's Manuel Estiarte, perhaps the greatest water polo player ever, struck gold tonight at the World Championships. Spain scored a 6-4 win over Hungary in the gold medal match.

The five-time Olympian, who earned his first Olympic gold in Atlanta in 1996, won his first World Championship gold after settling for silver at the 1994 World Championships and the 1991 World Championships, also in Perth.
