South Africa Announces Olympic squad -- April 11, 2000

DURBAN, SOUTH AFRICA - The South African swimming squad for the 2000 Olympics was announced, subject to approval by the National Olympic Committee of South Africa, after the national championships on Sunday.

Women: Penny Heyns, Mandy Loots, Helene Muller, Sarah Poewe, Charlene Wittstock.

Men: Brendon Dedekind, Nicholas Folker, Ryk Neethling, Terence Parkin, Brett Petersen, Roland Schoeman, Simon Thirsk, Theo Verster.
