USA Swimming Announces National Junior Teams

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado, September 5. USA Swimming announced the 2006-07 National Junior Team in conjunction with its international team release on Friday. The following swimmers earned berths on that team.

North Baltimore Aquatic Club scored the most team members with three as Kirsten Groome, Felicia Lee and Ian Rowe each garnered National Junior Team recognition.

Meanwhile, four other clubs put a pair of swimmers on the team as Club Wolverine, Dallas Mustangs, Longhorn Aquatics and The Fleet each witnessed two members selected from their squads.

Club Wolverine placed Liz Koselka and Allison Schmitt, while Dallas Mustangs put Matt Thompson and Spindrift Beck on their respective squads. Additionally, Longhorn’s Mary Beck and Samantha Tucker and The Fleet’s Natalie Adams and Neil Caskey snared National Junior Team laurels.
