UCLA Women Head Up Preseason Water Polo Rankings

BRIDGEPORT, Pennsylvania, January 26. THE preseason rankings of the Collegiate Water Polo Association have been released and the UCLA women top the charts at the Division I level. The Bruins piled up 100 points in the preseason poll and were followed in the second and third positions by Southern California (93) and Stanford (92). The top five was completed by the University of Hawaii (84) and Loyola-Marymount (77).

At the Division III level, the University of Redlands claimed the top spot with 97 points, a slightly higher total than the 95 points registered by second-ranked Pomona Pitzer. Occidental College was third in the preseason poll with 87 points and California State-East Bay (84) and Chapman University (81) rounded out the top five.
