USC Wins 1999 NorCal Water Polo Tournament

STANFORD, CA – Ivan Babic scored a two-point goal with 1:03 to play to lift the third-ranked USC water polo team to a 7-6 victory over top-ranked UCLA in the championship game of the NorCal Tournament on Sunday at deGuerre Pool.

In the third place game, Stanford, ranked second in the nation, dropped fourth-ranked California, 8-6, as freshman Peter Hudnut scored a two-point goal with 3:12 to play in the fourth period.
