1999 NorCal Water Polo Tournament

STANFORD, CA – The 1999 NorCal Tournament had been originally scheduled this year at Berkeley, but their aquatics facility is still nearing completion, and thus the tournament was recently sent back to Stanford. Cal, however, will be the official host for the tournament.

Almost all of the nation’s top teams will be competing in this 16-team field, including #1 UCLA (7-1), #2 Stanford (8-1), #3 USC (8-1), #4 California (4-4), #5 Pacific (7-3), #6 UC Irvine (3-7), #7 UC Santa Barbara (5-4), #8 Pepperdine (3-5), #9 Long Beach State (5-5), #10 UC San Diego (11-4), #12 Air Force (9-5), and #20 UC Davis (6-12).

Thirty-two games will be held over the two days with the championship game slated for Sunday, October 10, at 4:30 p.m. at Stanford’s deGuerre Pool. Sixteen games will be played at Stanford, and 16 games will be played at Sacred Heart High School in Atherton.
