Lilly King was awarded Female Race of the Year at Golden Goggles last weekend in recognition of her world record in the women’s 100 breast at the World Championships. She was also nominated for the Female Athlete of the Year award.

Before the ceremony, King explained what makes each trip to Golden Goggles, and she revealed that she has hardly reflected on her two world record-breaking swims from the summer or her massive improvements in the 200 breast, instead choosing to keep her focus on improvement. King also updated viewers on her junior season at Indiana.
