After posting an impressive time of 2:08.04 to win the women’s 200 fly at the TYR Pro Swim Series in Atlanta, Hali Flickinger was thrilled, not only with her time, but the fact that she is fully healthy and she can train harder than ever.

Flickinger explained that she had her tonsils taken out after the World Championships, and that put an end to a three-year period when she was often sick. Flickinger also revealed how her training has been overhauled, now including extremely long distance butterfly repeats. She explained why, because of her size, she thinks that is the key to improving further.
