After re-setting the 17-18 National Age Group record in the  men’s 100-meter breaststroke this morning Michael Andrew dropped another .09 seconds to set the record at a 1:00.37.

This morning Andrew stopped the clock at a 1:00.46 to lower Kevin Cordes’ 2012 record of 1:00.47.

Splits:

  • Michael Andrew OLD RECORD: 28.12/32/34–1:00.46
  • Michael Andrew NEW RECORD: 28.27/32.10–1:00.37

After a relatively quiet 2016 season Andrew has set himself up as a strong contender for the 100 breaststroke at Trials next week.
