NEW COMMIT: Florida State has added a verbal commitment from Alexis Durlacher to the Class of 2022. Hannah Womer and Stephanie Holmes are also planning to dive in for the Seminoles next fall.

In an announcement made on her Instagram Durlacher wrote,

“For so many years, I’ve been wearing garnet and gold at Episcopal Amberjax and now I get to continue. With that being said… I’m beyond thrilled to announce my verbal commitment to attend and swim at Florida State University! Super grateful for the guidance and support of my coaches, family, and friends. Can’t wait to be a part of such a dynamic and talented team! Go Noles!”

The Jacksonville, Fla., native attends Florida Virtual School and specializes in butterflyer and freestyler. Durlacher trains with the Epsicopal Amberjax and picked up her first Winter Juniors cut this summer in the 200 fly (2:19.11). Her short course isn’t quite yet on par with that long course performance, but she has seen consistent improvement in the smaller pool as well in the past few years. Durlacher’s top SCY times are:

  • 200 Free 1:52.27
  • 500 Free 5:04.46
  • 100 Fly 57.40
  • 200 Fly 2:07.65

Among her many best times this summer Durlacher’s LCM times include:

  • 100 Fly 1:03.93
  • 200 Fly 2:19.11
  • 200 Free 2:06.84
  • 400 Free 4:25.55
