Katie Ledecky Signs Five-Year Partnership with Athleta

Katie Ledecky has signed a five-year endorsement deal with women’s athletic apparel brand Athleta, it was announced Friday.

The 10-time Olympic medalist and 21-time World Champion is joining the athletes in Athleta’s “Power of She Collective,” a group of athletes launched in 2023, “that champion Athleta’s purpose to empower women and girls to build confidence, strength and wellbeing through movement.” She joins sprinter Allyson Felix, gymnast Simone Biles and Hall of Fame swimmer Natalie Coughlin on Athleta’s brand roster.

“I’ve long admired Athleta for recognizing and authentically supporting female athletes’ individual and collective strengths, and that’s why I’m thrilled to partner with a brand that has values that align with mine. I’m looking forward to being part of something that inspires me on a personal level,” Ledecky said in a press release. “Athleta has a history of supporting athletes holistically, which resonates with me. I’m more than my sport, and I know firsthand how harnessing the ethos of Athleta’s Power of She platform can help empower women and girls.”

Ledecky will serve as an advisor to the Power of She Fund, Athlete’s impact platform that supports organizations and projects according to the brand’s mission. She will help test new products and appear in Athleta campaigns, including the Find Your Movement campaign that Athleta also debuted on Friday.
