IRVINE, California, August 8. RACHEL Bootsma talked to Swimming World after her second-straight national title in the women’s 50 back. Bootsma clocked a time of 28.35, and she talked about how the swim affects her perspective headed into the 100 back tomorrow. She also spoke of the effects of swimming outside on her race, since she ended up rubbing up against the lane line.
