SANTA CLARA, California, June 21. FRESNO’s Cheyenne Coffman pulled off a lifetime best in the women’s 50-meter free at the Arena Grand Prix in Santa Clara.

Coffman chased down the title in 25.12, clearing her previous best of 25.16 from the Mesa stop of the Grand Prix in April. Coffman continues to grow into the sport as a post-grad, having been one of the top NAIA swimmers of all time while competing at Fresno Pacific collegiately.

SwimMAC’s Madison Kennedy, who posted a 13th-ranked 24.78 in Charlotte, took second tonight in 25.23, while Carmel’s Amy Bilquist grabbed third in 25.32. First Colony’s Simone Manuel checked in with a fourth-place 25.44.
