Heat sheets for day two prelims of the 2017 FINA World Championships are now available and will set up exciting races for five individual events.

DAY TWO PRELIMS HEAT SHEETS

Featured on the schedule for day two prelims are the men’s and women’s 100 back, women’s 100 breast, men’s 200 free, and women’s 1500 free.

Kylie Masse enters as the top seed for the women’s 100 back with a 2017 best of 58.21. Other top seeds of the women’s 100 back include Katinka Hosszu (58.45) and Kathleen Baker (58.57).

On the men’s side, Ryan Murphy and Xu Jiayu highlight the heat sheets with top seed times of 51.85 and 51.86 respectively. Also in the mix are Olympic gold medalist Matt Grevers and 2015 World Champion Mitch Larkin.

Prelims of the women’s 100 breast will begin to set the stage as rivals Yulia Efimova and Lilly King begin their quest for gold. The two host seed times of 1:04.82 and 1:04.93 respectively.

Sun Yang will return for the men’s 200 free prelims fresh off his 400 free victory as the top seed with a time of 1:44.63, while Katie Ledecky will begin her quest to 1500 free victory with the top seed time of 15:35.65.
