Grand Canyon University to Celebrate Women in Sports, Misty Hyman

PHOENIX, Arizona, January 30. THE Grand Canyon University’s women’s basketball team is celebrating women in sports tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. at GCU Arena when the Antelopes take on the Chicago State Cougars.

Special Guest Olympic Gold Medalist and Phoenician Misty Hyman will be taking photos and signing autographs in front of the arena starting at 5:45 p.m., as well as leading a special half time presentation honoring the outstanding female student-athletes at GCU.

Other pre-game tailgate festivities include live music, a free barbeque tailgate, GCU swag give-a-ways, and more! Tickets are free at the door.

The GCU women’s basketball team enters the game with an overall record of 13-6, 2-4 in the Western Athletic Conference. The Antelopes have gone 6-0 at home this season are 31-4 all-time at GCU Arena.
