Men’s Swimmer of the Week

Blake Pieroni, Indiana, Senior

  • Placed first in the 50 (19.60), 100 (42.94) and 200-freestyle (1:33.88) events as well as contributed to a first-place 400-freestyle relay (2:54.83) finish
  • Recorded NCAA B Standard qualifying times in all three individual events
  • Earns his 10th career Swimmer of the Week honor and the fifth of the season
  • Last Indiana Swimmer of the Week: Pieroni (Nov. 21, 2017)

Women’s Swimmer of the Week

Gabby DeLoof, Michigan, Senior

  • Won a pair of individual events and aided to a relay victory in a Big Ten dual against Indiana
  • Took first in the 100-yard freestyle (49.17) and 200-yard freestyle (1:46.21) as well as finished third in the 50-yard freestyle (22.89) clocking NCAA B cuts in all three events
  • Earns her first career Swimmer of the Week honor
  • Last Michigan Swimmer of the Week: Siobhan Haughey (Dec. 6, 2017)

Men’s Diver of the Week

James Conner, Indiana, Junior

  • Place first in the 1-meter (414.65) and 3-meter (401.15) events in Big Ten meet against Michigan
  • Recorded NCAA zone qualifying scores in both events
  • Earns his third Diver of the Week honor and the first of the season
  • Last Indiana Diver of the Week: Michael Hixon (Feb. 1, 2017)

Women’s Diver of the Week

Jessica Parratto, Indiana, Junior

  • Recorded a first place finish in the 1-meter (328.40) and 3-meter (334.50) diving events against Michigan
  • Posted NCAA zone qualifying scores in both events
  • Earns her seventh Diver of the Week award and third of the season
  • Last Indiana Diver of the Week: Parratto (Nov. 15, 2017)

Men’s Freshman of the Week

Gabriel Fantoni, Indiana

  • Placed first in the 100 backstroke (47.63) and the 200 medley relay (1:26.71), as well as third in the 200 backstroke (1:45.85) and 100 butterfly (47.97)
  • Recorded NCAA B Standard qualifying times in all three individual events
  • Earns his first Freshman of the Week award
  • Last Indiana Freshman of the Week: Bruno Blaskovic (Nov. 21, 2017)

Women’s Diver of the Week

Nikki Canale, Michigan

  • Recorded a second place finish in the 1-meter (284.95) and 3-meter (332.70) events in a Big Ten dual against Indiana
  • Posted NCAA zone qualifying and career-high scores in both the 1-meter and 3-meter events
  • Earns her second career Freshman of the Week award
  • Last Michigan Freshman of the Week: Canale (Oct. 4, 2017)
