GOLD COAST, Australia, August 16. JUST days away from the beginning of the 2014 Pan Pacific Championships, Missy Franklin met with the Australian media at the Gold Coast.

Franklin has had no problems with adjusting to Australia, and slept 10 hours the night before.  Franklin also talks about swimming backstroke outdoors, and Emily Seebohm being a definitive threat in the backstroke events.  Franklin also talks about the amazing Australian world record in the 400-meter freestyle relay, and how Team USA will have to step up to compete with the Aussies.  Franklin also reveals that she was not fully tapered or rested at Nationals.

Franklin also thinks that what the Campbell sisters, Cate and Bronte, have been able to accomplish is amazing.
