Today's live edition of The Morning Swim Show featured an interview with Dara Torres the day before returning to competition after winning three silver medals in the 2008 Olympics.

In case you missed our live show (airing each weekday at 10:30 a.m. MST), you can watch the video below and see host Peter Busch's interview with Torres, who talks about her surgeries last fall, her daughter’s prowess in the pool and why it might have been fate that she missed the gold medal in the 50 free by one-hundredth of a second.

Torres also answered viewer-submitted questions, including topics ranging from Tara Kirk and dryland training to her competitors and those who doubted she could return to form.

Torres’ coach, Michael Lohberg, also joined the show to give an update on his recovery from aplastic anemia and how he has helped Torres return to the pool to begin training for competition this summer.
