Morning Swim Show - April 23

Host Brent Rutemiller opens the show with news from the French Olympic Trials concerning Laure Manaudou's interesting meet, where she placed third in the 400 free and dropped out of the 200 free, potentially taking her out of that event in Beijing.

Rutemiller also comments on the passing of Abu Heim, the legendary open-water swimmer who passed away Tuesday.

In Reaction Time, Rutemiller and Swimming World Magazine senior writer John Lohn discuss the possible lineups in the Olympic 400 medley relay for the USA, Japan, Australia, Germany and Great Britain.

For the Record's segment is a family affair, as Bob Duenkel interviews his younger sister, Jenny, a 1964 Olympic champion in the 400 free. Jenny Duenkel talks about the swimsuit she donated to the International Swimming Hall of Fame and how the sport has changed in more than 40 years. Some of the radical changes she mentions include swimsuits, lane lines, goggles and training.
