Palo Alto's Curtis Ogren crushed his preliminary time of 3:46.13 with a triumphant time of 3:44.87 this evening. Ogren's prelim swim had been the meet record. Ogren is now just two seconds back of Michael Phelps' amazing 15-16 U.S. National Age Group record of 3:42.08 after having already turned in the 13-14 U.S. NAG with a 3:54.23 back in 2010.
