North Texas' Brett Ringgold touched out SwimMAC's Kyle Darmody, 19.73 to 19.83, to capture the meet record in the splash-and-dash. Bolles' Caeleb Dressel had set the record earlier in the night as a relay leadoff with a 19.82. That's the second time today that Ringgold cleared 20 after doing so as a relay leadoff in prelims this morning.
