2010 STANFORD SWIM CAMPS
Camp counselors/coaches needed for this Nike sponsored swim camp. Work with and learn from Stanford Head Men’s Coach Skip Kenney and Head Women’s Coach Lea Maurer as they provide 4 sessions of instruction on the beautiful Stanford University campus. Camp instruction will have a unique focus on stroke technique and mechanics. Prior to employment, applicants must be coaching members of U.S. Swimming and certified in Coaches Safety Training, CPR and First Aid. Dates for the 2010 camps are 6/19-24, 6/26-7/1, 7/3-8, and 7/10-15. Base salaries adjusted by experience. The camp provides room and board. All staff will receive a Nike Camp apparel package. The Longhorns Swim Camp at The University of Texas at Austin is seeking mature, motivated, and team-oriented individuals to be part of its 33rd year! National Head Coach, Performance Scientist
The Swedish Swimming Federation (SSF) and the Swedish Olympic Committee (SOK) invite applications to two new key positions:
• National head coach
• Performance scientist

Both positions will be filled by persons with highly developed leadership skills, with a focus on development, and with advanced knowledge in swimming coaching. The positions require a vision to lead, develop and coach Swedish swimmers aiming for international success. Experience from coaching gifted swimmers at the highest international level is essential. Experience from working at other international training centers will be an advantage. The responsibilities of the positions will include developing the skills of Swedish swimming coaches.

The positions will be located at the newly established Swedish Swimming Federation High Performance Center (HPC) at Eriksdalsbadet in Stockholm. The two persons appointed will join the sport director swimming in the leadership team for the Swedish national team.

The national head coach will lead activities at the HPC and be responsible for training at training camps for the national teams. In the same manner, the performance scientist will be active at the HPC and during national team activities.
