The YMCA National Masters Meet and the YMCA National Diving Championship will return in 2022. Both events will be held April 7-10, 2022, at the Rosen YMCA Aquatic & Fitness Center, Orlando, Fla.

The National Masters Meet is a supportive and inspiring event for adult swimmers who are YMCA members. Events are offered by age group and swimmers do not need competitive swimming background to participate. There are no time standards for entry into the meet.

The Diving Championship features 1 meter, 3 meter and platform events for boys and girls, divided by age group.

In order to comply with recommendations from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and out of an abundance of caution to reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19, YMCA of the USA (Y-USA) cancelled the 2020 and 2021 Masters and Diving events.

The Y’s priority continues to be the safety of athletes, coaches and spectators. Throughout 2021 and 2022, Y-USA will monitor CDC guidance for preventing exposures to COVID-19 and recommended safety precautions will be put into place.

The National Masters Meet and the Diving Championship are part of the Y’s long-standing support of the health and well-being of adults and kids. Competitive sports at the Y promote the physical, cognitive and social-emotional development of each athlete while also providing a supportive, inclusive community in which all athletes can strive toward their full potential.
