\nNot only did Nation\u2019s Capital\u2019s Phoebe Bacon swim in her first-ever final at U.S. nationals this past summer, but the 16-year-old also qualified for her first U.S. junior national team that competed in Fiji at the Junior Pan Pacific Championships.<\/p>\n

\nAccording to the United States Anti-Doping Agency, Grace Ariola, a freshman at the University of Texas, tested positive for a prohibited substance in June. Since it was an out-of-competition test, there were no results to disqualify, and since she was found without fault, she will not face a period of ineligibility.<\/p>\n
