PULLMAN, Wash., USA, September 2. THE Washington State women's swimming team will make its annual Labor Day trek to the Snake River to participate in the Snake River Challenge Monday, Sept. 5 at 11 a.m. The event consists of a two mile swim from Granite Point to the WSU Boathouse followed by a two mile run back to Granite Point.<\/p>\n
The Cougars will be competing with each other for the fastest swim, run and overall time in the event. The WSU Master\u2019s Team will also be participating. The Snake River Challenge is a time honored tradition for the team. <\/p>\n
"We hope it will be a fun and challenging experience for the team," WSU Head Coach Erica Quam said. "We want to be able to get out and enjoy the area where we live and give the new swimmers a chance to experience it first hand."<\/p>\n
