BRISTOL, Conn., USA, August 29. AS part of tonight\u2019s episode of ESPN Hollywood<\/i>, Amanda Beard is expected to be featured in a segment on the ESPN2 show. ESPN Hollywood was recently launched and takes a look at the sports world from an entertainment and pop-culture point of view. Beard is the most marketable female in swimming and has spent much of the year handling appearances and elevating her out-of-the-water profile.<\/p>\n
A three-time Olympian and former world-record holder in the 200-meter breaststroke, Beard has taken this year off from competition and bypassed last month\u2019s World Championships in Montreal. In the meantime, she has attended several events, even participating in Miami\u2019s Fashion Week where she worked as an emcee and helped Speedo bring attention to its Axcelerate line of swimwear.<\/p>\n
