BLOOMINGTON, Ind., USA, June 21. RAY Looze, now in command of the men\u2019s and women\u2019s programs at Indiana University, has announced a handful of coaching changes. Looze recently added the women\u2019s coaching duties to his role as men\u2019s coach when Dorsey Tierney took her coaching skills to Auburn University.<\/p>\n
Looze has decided to keep women\u2019s assistant Mike Westphal on staff and has hired Pam Swander, a former assistant at Clemson. Westphal and Swander will lend their expertise to both the male and female programs. Meanwhile, diving coach Jeff Huber has moved Jason Baumann from diving events coordinator to assistant coach.<\/p>\n
Westphal heads into his third season as an Indiana assistant and helped the Hoosiers to a ninth-place finish at last year\u2019s NCAA Championships. Swander, whose son Kevin is entering his senior year at Indiana and is among the top breaststrokers in the nation, spent one year as an assistant at Clemson. She owns vast experience as a club and high school coach. As for Baumann, he was an All-American diver during his days as an Indiana athlete.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
