ALTHOUGH hardly pushed, Katie Hoff posted a pair of quality times during Saturday\u2019s evening session of the North Baltimore Aquatic Club Long Course Championships. The leading American youngster appears in fine form with the World Championships just around the corner.<\/p>\n<p>Coached by Paul Yetter at NBAC, Hoff prevailed in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:00.08. That swim wasn\u2019t far off the 1:59.56 she managed at the U.S. World Champs Trials and served as proof that Hoff, in the middle of training, could uncork a blistering time in Montreal, site of Worlds.<\/p>\n<p>Hoff also took top honors in the 100 butterfly, an event that does not sit on her World Championship slate. Leaving no doubt that she\u2019s also one of America\u2019s premier butterfly swimmers, Hoff touched the wall in 1:00.42. She was followed in second place by NBAC teammate Courtney Kalisz (1:02.78).
