Bernice Orwig was named the Tournament MVP as the Women of Troy captured their first Collegiate Women’s water polo title. <\/p>\n
The shot that ended the season belonged to USC freshman Christine Zador. It looked like the game was headed into another sudden death overtime period. Southern Cal was on their offensive possession. With the shot clock winding down, the ball was passed into two meters and Stanford crashed towards the ball.
