America’s Carrie Steinseifer and Russia’s Evgeny Sadovy highlight the list of inductees at the 35th annual International Swimming Hall of Fame induction ceremonies held in Ft. Lauderdale on May 7 and 8. Steinseifer won two gold medals at the 1984 Olympic Games, including a tie (with Nancy Hogshead) in the 100m free–the only tie in Olympic history. Sadovy was a triple gold medalist at the 1992 Olympics, winning the 200m and 400m free, and swimming on the Unified Team’s victorious 800m free relay. <\/p>\n
