In this special Thanksgiving episode, \u201cThanksgiving Day Charade,\u201d Amanda plays an attractive Olympic gold medal-winning swimmer whom the quints\u2019 uncle, sports agent Steve Chase (Jason Priestley in a guest appearance), tries to sign. <\/p>\n
At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Beard won the gold medal and set an Olympic record in the 200-meter breaststroke, and captured silver medals in the 200-meter IM and the 4×100-meter medley relay. Beard also won a gold medal and two silvers at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, and a bronze medal at the 1996 Atlanta Games. <\/p>\n
The Irvine, CA, native now lives in Tucson, AZ, with her two dogs and two fish and attends the University of Arizona, where she is studying retail and consumer sciences. <\/p>\n
Raising a teenager can be a challenge. Raising five at once means all-out war. The quintuplets were a blessing for Bob (Andy Richter) and Carol Chase (Rebecca Creskoff) when they were first born \u2013 an adorable gift of abundance, they graced many a magazine cover promoting everything from applesauce to condoms. <\/p>\n
Their teenage years, however, have been less than kind. The quints are no longer the precious little tykes they used to be. Now they are three boys and two girls of varying sizes, looks, intelligence and social skills. Torn between their dependence on each other and their need to develop their individuality, the quintuplets must deal with the problems of living their teenage years as one of five siblings and a part of this unique family. <\/p>\n
