NATALIE Coughlin whet the crowd\u2019s appetite for another day of record breaking performances with an Olympic Trials meet record in heat seven of the 100 meter backstroke preliminaries. Coughlin, swimming for California Aquatics, touched at 1:00.71, eclipsing Janie Wagstaff\u2019s 1992 meet record of 1:00.84. Coughlin was the only woman of the morning to flip at the 50 in under 30 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>2000 Olympian, Courtney Shealy, of the Athens Bulldogs, was among a pack of four women to go 1:02 this morning.
