INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana, April 27. USMS national records were equalled or broken 78 times during last weekend's USMS Short Course National Championships in Indianapolis — 72 times by individuals and five times by relays. In addition, one individual record was tied.<\/p>\n

Nine of the 72 individual record swims were by swimmers who finished second. So the final tally of new records is:
