ON Tuesday, for the second time in the season, Florida International University sophomore diver Megan Balkenbush (Fort Collins, Colo.) earned Sun Belt Conference Diver of the Week recognition. Balkenbush earned the weekly honor, following her victory on the one-meter and the three-meter in a triangular against Indian River Community College and Florida Atlantic University, last Saturday. She won the one-meter portion, accumulating a season-best 271.30 points. Her performance is the second-best in the SBC this season. In the three-meter diving, she was victorious with 262.30 points. Up next for Balkenbush and her swimming teammates is the Sun Belt Conference Championships, starting on February 12th.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MIAMI, Fla, January 27.
