THE latest CSCAA college swimming poll is out and, to the surprise of no one, Auburn retains its iron grip on the #1 spot for both men and women.

Since the 2003-04 season began, the Tigers have been rated first unanimously. Apparently, the eight selectors saw no raeason to change that judgment this time around, as Auburn received the maximum 200 points in both polls.

In the men's poll, Stanford has moved into a tie with Texas for the #2 spot with 188 points. Cal is fourth, followed by Florida in fifth. Georgia jumped to sixth, its highest ranking in years, while Arizona moved up to the number 7 spot.

In the women's poll, the selectors were unanimous in their votes for the top eight spots.
