Butterflyer Siggy Nymo Verbally Commits to Florida for 2028<\/strong><\/p>\n

NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Florida has scored a new verbal commitment for Fall 2028 from\u00a0Siggy Nymo\u00a0<\/strong>of Minneapolis, Minn. A U.S. Open qualifier, Nymo is one of the top butterflyers in this class.<\/p>\n

She will join\u00a0Zona Smith<\/strong>,<\/a> McKenzie Cory<\/strong><\/a>, Leah Inman<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and Isabelle Green<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in Gainesville as a member of the Gators\u2019 Class of 2032.<\/p>\n

Regarding her commitment, she said:<\/p>\n

\u201cI am so beyond blessed and excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Florida! I want to start by thanking my family and friends for their endless love, support, and encouragement throughout this journey. I truly could not have done this without yall. A huge thank you to Coach Kate, Gio, Leah, and the entire Aquajets family for believing in me and helping shape me into the person and athlete I am today. I am forever grateful!! Additionally, Thank you to Coach Nesty, Kristin, and Chelsea and the Florida coaching staff for believing in me and giving me the opportunity!! I\u2019m so excited for everything that\u2019s ahead and can\u2019t wait to call Gainsville home! Nymo, who does her club swimming with Aquajets Swim Team, placed 13th in the 100m fly at Junior Nationals after taking seventh in that event at Westmont Speedo Sectionals. She placed to 16th in the 100 fly at Juniors West last December before going on to earn bronze in that race, as well as 10th in the 200 fly and 13th in the 50 fly, at NCSA Spring Championships in March.<\/p>\n
